Mustang Mapping was established in 1996 and focused primarily in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and AutoCad mapping. Mustang Mapping was awarded several large projects from the Minnesota DNR as well as cadastral mapping of parcels in Benton, Stearns and parts of Morrison county.
In 1999, the focus began to shift from GIS to graphic mapping & cartography. Shortly thereafter, Mustang received contracts for plat books, snowmobile maps and general highway maps. With this new growth, Mustang expanded its equipment to include large format laminators and printers. With these additions, Mustang could also offer full-color printing & laminating as well as mapping services. Mustang Graphics was formed, and expanded into graphic design, full-color vinyl, banners, vehicle graphics, mounting substrates, custom framing and more.
In 2009, Mustang Graphics joined forces with Bendel Sign Company to form Mustang Signs & Graphics. With this union, Mustang Signs & Graphics now offers lighted signs, neon signs, sandblasting, sign repair, & much more - in addition to the extensive amount of services it could provide before.
